Number 3 - Denver pioneers 

The Denver Pioneers have a magnificent hockey program. They have had seventy-eight NHL players who have played Denver Pioneers and two of them being Hall of Famers. Then four of them are NHL all-stars and three of them have played for the all-star team. Now they have won fifteen regular season championships and seventeen conference tournament championships. Also, they have won nine NCAA championships out of there thirty-one appearances at the NCAA tournament.  

 

 

Why they are ranked number 3 

The Denver Pioneers are a skillful team and have won nine NCAA championships. They would be even better if more of their players would be drafted to the NHL. Currently they only have seventy-eight players that have been drafted to the NHL. However, still they have put many good hockey players in the NHL including two Hall of Famers and four NHL all-stars. So, the Pioneers are a talented team as they have put twelve fewer players into the NHL than the Badgers and the Pioneers have one more Hall of Fame player than them. So, they are ranked at number three as they are not the best and not the worst.
