Why they are number 2
The North Dakota Fighting Hawks are an amazing hockey program. Seeing how they have won many NCAA championships and put a lot of people into the NHL like Brock Boeser, Zach Parise, Jonathan Toews and T. J. Oshie to name a few who played for the Hawks. They have also won eight NCAA championships which makes them the second most NCAA championships won on this list. Now, why there above the Denver Pioneers, the Pioneers have more NCAA championships but in one NCAA championship does not matter to how many people, they have put in the NHL and the Pioneers have only put seventy-eight players to the NHL. Compared to the 117 players by the Hawks, they are a better team as the Hawks have sent thirty-nine more players to the NHL.
