Number 4 – Wisconsin Badgers
This hockey program is amazing. There have been fifteen all-stars in the NHL that have come from the Badgers, like Joe Pavelski, Ryan Suter, Brian Mullen, and Ryan McDonagh and only one Hall of Famer, Chris Chelios. In total there have been eighty-six players that went to Wisconsin and made it to the NHL. This hockey program has won many awards like four regular season championships and have won thirteen conference tournament champions. They also have won six NCAA championships out of there twenty-six appearances.
Why they are number 4
The Wisconsin Badgers have an amazing team, but they are not at the top. They are better than the golden gophers but, not better than the number three team the Denver pioneers. The badgers also have not won enough NCAA championships and regular season championships and awards. They have not produced a lot of good NHL players, as they only have one Hall of Fame player and only 86 NHL players. Compared to the golden gophers who had 118 NHL players. So, the badgers are the overall better program for developing hockey players.
